BOSTON, MA.///March 16, 2005//A solid 81 percent of Massachusetts adults support a state bill that would encourage stem cell research, permit somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT or so called "therapeutic cloning," which is used to create stem cells for medical research) and also ban cloning to create new human life, according to a new Hart Research survey ... Support for the pending state bill is strong across the board, including Catholics (76 percent), Republicans (66 percent), and small town/rural residents (81 percent)...
