Presidential Primary Candidate Forums to Highlight Children’s Issues
October 20th, 27th, 29th, 31st, & November 3rd in New Hampshire
What: Single candidate forums in which primary candidates will discuss their plans and views on matters critical to children, youth, and families. Candidates will address an array of issues such as child abuse prevention and treatment, children’s health, K-12 education, pre-kindergarten education, after-school programs, and economic security. In addition, the candidates will field questions from the audience related to other children’s policy issues.

The forums will be co-moderated by Michael R. Petit, president and founder of the Every Child Matters Education Fund, and Scott Spradling, anchor and political reporter for WMUR-TV 9 New Hampshire.
The Every Child Matters Education Fund is a 501(c)3 non-partisan, non-profit organization founded in 2001 to elevate the visibility of children’s issues in elections in an effort to make children a higher political priority. The Education Fund is headquartered in Washington, DC and has field offices in Des Moines, IA and Concord, NH.
